OUR MISSION
ROCKNRECOVERY Provides short term assistance for music professionals in times of need that have suffered a hardship. We act as a resource and an advocate in times of need and where applicable, provide the financial support. We achieve this through music, concerts, and events with the support of volunteers, musicians, entertainers, live event staff, and many other musical and entertainment professionals. We also strive to raise awareness for survivors on how to navigate such a difficult time by sharing our experiences and letting them know they are not alone. With our large family of entertainment professionals and volunteers, we are here to help connect them to the resources they need and get the assistance they require. ROCKNRECOVERY strives to be a resource for the music community in a time of need, and each case will be treated with integrity and confidentiality.

KARL COCHRAN
On the night of April 2nd, 2014 at the Iridium Jazz Club in NYC, the life of Karl Cochran as well as many people in his life was rocked. According to the Centers for Disease Control, stroke is the fifth leading cause of death in the United States, and approximately 800,000 people per year have a stroke. On average, one American dies from a stroke every four minutes. It hits all ages, gender, race, and socioeconomic background. Infants, healthy young adults, and the elderly, can all suffer a stroke. While not everyone will have one, nobody is immune from it. READ MORE
